[Typo3-debian] Help me, the install script fails

Ok did that and now the Typo3 is running, howerver the page in the install
script I described still wont run (A 500 error)

Messed around with it, and for some reason I decided to remove GDLib, just
to test.
And voila the aforementioned pages worked..

Well problem found!

And now for the solution.
Looked in the forum and found some info, one of them was doing a downgrade
on the system..

Tried that but it wanted me to remove 334 MB

Weel I really dont want to do that

so is there a workaround?
How do I get GDLib to work?
Any suggestions?
Dont care which version of gdlib, but im kinda new to the debian thing.
