Exactly! Now I remember that Ingmar gave me that hint a few months ago.

I just note that you seem not to use the site-installer? It would already be
set there... :-) Maybe have a look at the provided localconf.php. It might
be a good template since you use the same software versions (IM, GD2, etc.)

Don't know. But are there any drawbacks if we use it? Anyway, it seems to
work great with im_noFramePrepended=1.
