[Typo3-debian] Imagemagick 5.5.7 problems

I couldn't get 5.5.7 to work either, and downgraded it.
and yes - quite happy with the unstable branch. just some "guidelines" to
prevent undue headaches:

1) imporant packages "on hold" (especially imagemagick)

2) and this line in .bashrc:
alias upgrade='apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade -u --no-remove &&
apt-get clean'

In my opinion you should either choose stable or unstable, never "testing"
because in the first days/weeks bugs (and especially security issues) are
first resolved for unstable, and then back-resolved for stable. The
testing branch doesn't get fixed until a package makes it from unstabl to
testing.

As long as you put in some time resolving important updates manually,
you're essentially in the clear. And "unstable" is a very secure solution
too, I think.
