Hi

I have just done the following:
apt-get --purge remove typo3-env
apt-get clean
apt-get install typo3-env

now i can view phpinfo(); [option6], and everything 'looks' fine, gives a bit about gdlib2 etc, but oddly not options 1 2 or 3 of the install tool [i get a page cannot be displayed error for each of them], the gdlib still appears to not be working as a gmenu is not appearing on the site.

I have also used typo3-site-installer to put up a new site to see if its because i changed the base install and this is not working as stage1 is obviously the first part being displayed, in order to get around this i have to call the url as index.php and then type in the password. the same options are unavailable.

thanks for your time, Q.
