We have made a modified version of the indexed_search extension 
available at our website. The modifications makes the extension have 
template support, so that XHTML compliant output is within reach.

We would like to stress, that all credit to the functionality remains 
with the original authors, and that this modified version will NOT be a 
part of the extension repository, as we see no reason make a "real" fork 
of the indexed_search extension.

Consider the modified version to be a temporary solution until future 
official releases of the extension.
