[Typo3-windows] Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreate()

Thank you for your help. However I could not get your solution to work.

As this is the very first site I have ever tried to use I do not know what
the web->template module is. Is that the web page that I am trying to load,
index.php. In that web page I did find a constants section and added

GIFBUILDER_logo = 0;

but it only came up with an error.
Perhaps you could explain in more detail your solution for me.
