Guys, this error message above tells that the Webserver cannot connect to a
specified page. This means that it doesn't matter which client OS or
browser you are using.

OK, you are testing from home and from your office. But is it the same site
you are working on?

BTW: If it's a Unix webserver you should move this thread to
news://news.netfielders.de/typo3.install.linux
