I am also new to Typo3.
But I had a similar problem with one the extensions.
I have it sorted by installing the latest 3.6
Sorry I can not be any more helpful,
Nicolas Diogo

Subject: [Typo3-UG UK] installation of "Front End User Registration"
Extension has crashed entire site!
hi typo3-uk people,
my apologies if the answer to this can be found elsewhere, but ive
trawled all the docs to no avail, and im pretty desperate!
MY PROBLEM:
I just tried to install the Extension "Front End User Registration" to
my Typo3 site (version typo3_src-3.5.0). and it has crashed my whole
site, front end and back! all pages report this error.
"""
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: addpiflexformvalue() in
/hsphere/local/home/ro/typo3conf/temp_CACHED_ps8e3d_ext_tables.php on
line 1334
"""
these are those lines:
1331>> // Adds the two plugins to the TCA
1332>>3lib_extMgm::addPlugin(Array('LLL:EXT:newloginbox/locallang_db.php:tt_
content.list_type1',$_EXTKEY.'_pi1'),'list_type');
1333>>t3lib_extMgm::addPlugin(Array('LLL:EXT:newloginbox/locallang_db.php:tt
_content.list_type3',$_EXTKEY.'_pi3'),'list_type');
1334>>t3lib_extMgm::addPiFlexFormValue($_EXTKEY.'_pi1','FILE:EXT:newloginbox
/flexform_ds.xml');
1335>>t3lib_extMgm::addPiFlexFormValue($_EXTKEY.'_pi3','FILE:EXT:newloginbox
/flexform_ds_pi3.xml');
(sorry about any wrapping)
copies of localconf.php and temp_CACHED_ps8e3d_ext_tables.php can be
viewed here:
http://d45477.tmp28.quadrahosting.com/err/
the Extension manager said the module installed ok after i elected to to
make the necessary table changes/cache clear etc. then the next button i
clicked (which i think was the "Page" module link) produced the error
above - but i think i could of clicked anything. now the whole site is
disabled! I had preveously successfully installed some extentions.
- Any insights into what i my have done wrong?
- Is it a version issue? i assume others have successfully used this
extension?
- Is there any way i can "roll back" to a state of the system to prior
to the installation of the extension?
Please - any help would be much appreciated.
kind regards,
ben.
