Hello,

I have uploaded the testsite zip to my Linux server. When accessing index
php on the server and using the Quick Start Install Tool part 1 works well.

Part 1 is successful, i.e. typing in the database parameters.

However when i get to part 2 and 3 i encounter the following problems:

PART 2:

Following Sql errors:

Warning: mysql_list_dbs(): Unable to save MySQL query result in
/home/c/a/cassar/public_html/typo3/t3lib/class.t3lib_install.php on line
1897

Warning: mysql_fetch_object(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result
resource in /home/c/a/cassar/public_html/typo3/t3lib/class.t3lib_install.php
on line 1898

PART 3:

Little red cross image which said "There is no access to the database ()!"

Then it asks me to go back to step 2 and select an accessible database.

I have looked for a solution to this problem but cant find anything.

Thanking you in advance,

Alec
