[TYPO3-UG India] Doubt

Hi,

I am assuming you are using the default Typo3 login box.

What most likely is happening here is:
The login box has the parameter 'Send to page:' set as some inaccessible 
page by the non-logged in user. Now when you are providing the wrong 
user information, the login mechanism tries to send you to that page 
anyway. But, since your login was unsuccessful, you don't have access to 
that page. So the mechanism I detailed in the last answer is sending you 
to some other page.

To check this, go to Tools->Install->All Configuration in the BE and set 
the value of the parameter '[pageNotFound_handling]' to 1. If what I 
assumed is correct, then instead of redirecting you, T3 will show you an 
error message.

If this is so, to quickly solve this issue, you can use extension 
'newloginbox' instead of the default login box and set the correct 
parameters.
