You have to unsubscribe yourself. I believe when you subscribe yourself,
you get al sorts of messages around this subscription.

Anyway, there are a lot of forums around. You can check
typo3.startpagina.nl for a short list. Also on typo3.com are, I think good
lists mentioned.
