Hej UG DK,

BNP (http://bnp.dk/) er et firma som lever af at rådgive firmaer som  
disse (http://bnp.dk/4.0.html) om hvilket CMS de skal vælge.

BNP samarbejder med Computerworld, og er meget ansete og ofte  
citerede i visse kredse.

Hvert år laver de en benchmark af stort set alle tilgængelige CMS- 
systemer. Det bliver til en liste som mange bruger til reference og  
udgangspunkt når CMS-systemer skal vælges.

I år har de for første gang valgt at tilknytte priser "awards" til de  
bedste CMS-systemer i forskellige kategorier.

Jeg er klar over at hvad jeg skriver her på UG mailinglisten ryger  
direkte ind i Google´s cache, så jeg kan ikke skrive mere end dette:  
Jeg har hørt en fugl synge om at der er overvejende sandsynlighed for  
at TYPO3 vinder en temmelig god pris.

Derfor var det måske en idé at også du møder op - eller måske sender  
dine kunder eller din chef afsted for at se TYPO3 i sammenligning med  
alle de andre CMS´ser ;)

Meet TYPO3 at the BNP CMS Best Practice Seminar 2006 in Copenhagen,  
Denmark, November 21st.
Once a year the independent Danish CMS consulting company BNP  
Consulting evaluates and benchmarks the systems of the leading  
Scandinavian and global CMS vendors. The BNP CMS and Portal Benchmark  
Analysis is unique in an European context and one the most detailed  
analyses of this specific market.

This year each participating vendor has specifically answered a  
Request for Information containing 20 pages of questions from BNP.  
This way BNP have gained a very good insight into the strengths and  
weaknesses of each product and vendor. A consequent methodology  
behind the analysis has furthermore made the answers directly  
comparative, which enables BNP to identify which specific systems  
that represents best practice within various criteria.

On the 21st of November BNP will also present the conclusions from  
the brand new 2006/2007 Benchmark Analysis and reveal the award  
winning companies. As a new feature this year, BNP has identified  
vendors displaying exceptional functionality within 15 important  
categories. At the seminar BNP will officially name a leader and a  
challenger in each category.

BNP have selected a number of the leader award winners to briefly  
present the part of their setup that is performing so extraordinary  
well within the category that they have won. This gives participants  
at the seminar a good insight to best practice in the CMS and portal  
world of 2006.

At the seminar you will be able to meet representatives from TYPO3  
who can answer your questions about the system and also to meet CMS  
consultants, CMS buyers, and open source CMS gurus. People with whom  
you can share CMS and portal knowledge and experience at the lunch  
buffet. In other words come and spend one day in Copenhagen and learn  
about all the best from the leaders in the CMS world of 2006!
