[Typo3-UG Denmark] TYPO3 locks up?

Hi All

 

Don't know if I should write in English or Danish, so correct me if I'm
wrong.

 

I'm running through the tutorial "Modern Template Building, Part 1" and I
got the Dummy package installed.

I get to the part where I set up the global template on the root page, and
at random (when I mingle with the Setup part of the template) TYPO3 locks
up. I can't see the frontend and I can't edit the global template. Some sort
of db problem maybe?

 

The only way for me to get anywhere is to replace the db with a fresh one
and start all over (which is NOT very cool :-)).

 

Can anyone help/has anyone encountered the same problem?
