Hi Marc,
The key things are:
1) Version of Typo3 used in previous installation
2) Different extensions/plugins and their versions
3) Database
4) Datafiles (fileadmin/)
5) Apache Configurations
Then you can install same version of Typo3, extensions/plugins. You will
need to clone the same installations configuration from the localconf.php
file. You can just download the same extensions from Extension Manager
itself and install it in the new server.
But setup the database first. copy all files from fileadmin folder to the
new server.
configure your typo3. Also different versions of typo require different
versions of LAMP. be careful with that.
