G'day Christian -

Typically you can order goods from overseas to the value of $1000Aus 
before triggering customs / gst / processing fees.

Bear in mind they not only charge GST on said goods but the processing 
fee can be $50 or more.

Of course they are allowed to check any packages coming in as well I 
believe..
