[TYPO3-UG Australia] problems with extension manager

Sorry if this has been answered, but the email lists aren't searchable at
present...

 

Has anyone had trouble connecting Typo3 3.7.0 with the extension repository?
I have the right user name and password, but when I try to connect to the
repository the "connect to repository" button, and in fact the whole section
for importing just disappears, and leaves me only with the upload
alternative.

 

I can upload fine, but simply cannot import.

 

In the meantime, does anyone have the modern template building extensions on
a local machine that they could give me access to?
