I'm also happy to contribute if/where I can - I'm in NZ but don't hold that
against me. :-)
There is an informal user group in NZ not sure if the others joined this
usergroup (I posted the invitation on their list) and I haven't had much
contact with anyone at this end of the earth with the exception of Callum
in Auckland and Roger in OZ. I wouldn't make a coder's rear end but can
eventually (with guidance) make my way forward.
So far I've done a couple of small sites for local small businesses and a
larger site for my model club. I'm in the process of developing a site
related to my hobby - its live but has faults (search function and one or
two others) at www.toysnz.com.
My biggest difficulty has been that despite the vast amount of information
on Typo3.org I have found it frustrating to find the answers to my problems
- documentation on extensions is often missing altogether - that's where a
usergroup such as this comes to the fore - Roger has in the past been very
helpful in explaining how things go together or how he got things to work.
Ok there's my 2c worth - I'm in and will keep on plugging away and help out
where I can ...
