[TYPO3-workspace] Workspaces AND Versioning

Hi,

I'm working on workspaces with TYPO3 6.1.7 and I'm using the extensions version (6.1.0) and workspaces (6.1.0). 
My question: Is it possible to create several versions of a whole page (with content elements) in a custom workspace? I have read that it's not possible anymore but is there any other solution?
