[TYPO3-workspace] Extbase Module-Controller Workspace/Versioning

Hi Workspace Team

In a new project I need Workspace functionality in an own module written
with extbase.

Are there any known workarounds, best practice infos to get this done?

I saw that it's planned to work on that in august (

What's the roadmap for Workspace / when it should be implemented?
