[TYPO3-workspace] Hi

Hi Everyone!

I would like to say hello. My name is Falk and i have been using TYPO3 for years. I am using it for a company at the moment and would like to use workspaces with version 6.0, but there have been some hickups.

The Rootline Utility does not work with workspaces, and neither does drag and drop.
Since it is essential to me, i would like to help fix it.

So while i am trying to understand, probably a lot of questions will pop up and i hope to find some answers here.

So lets begin:
1: Is there any reason not to use use statements to shorten namespaced class usage?
2: Why do the workspace pages have a pid of -1?
3: Whats exactly a placeholder and how does it work?
    3.1: from what i understood, the placeholder is an invisible element, that gets put to the position where the original item was in the live workspace. Right?
    3.2: Then a copy of the element gets put next to it, or where it was dropped, with a reference to the placeholder. Then what is the placeholder for, if you can reference it to the original item in the live workspace?

Thats just the beginning :D
