Hi,
+1 for that - we have a serious issue with scaling performance for workspaces on big sites.
Imho its not so bad that nothing happens immediately, but you gotta communicate as a CORE (!!) Team,
If u are busy, ppl should sponsor development etc.
If you cant support the workspace module in such a way -> just don't make it a core module then !
Ofc you raise expectations of code quality a lot, as ppl using TYPO3 all over the world trust in the
stability and (!!) scalability of TYPO3 core code a lot. Even if its open source, there is a responsibility
if you announce a new core functionality or otherwise u damage the image of TYPO3 a lot.
So please let us know, if there is a need for sponsored development or what are your plans as a team
to be more responsive in the future.
Thx !
frank

Hello dear workspace team!
I really appreciate your work but i am wondering why you have 14 project
people and 98 open issues and some of them are important and time passes
and many don't get fixed.
This is sad to see. Are people not motivated to work on some issues?
What are the problems why things are not smoothly going on? There are
open issues with the "new workspace module" since 4.5 and 4.7 is ahead
of us and will be released soon...
