Problem:
The current implementation didn't fully fit the specification we got 
from the HCI Team as last main feature the slider was still missing

Solution:
The attached patch adds the slider functionality.

As disucssed in the last meeting 
(http://forge.typo3.org/projects/typo3v4-workspaces/wiki/Protokoll_-_2010-12-13) 
it was committed as FYI after Steffen tested it.
