well, I thought that sentences like:

"As you may have noticed Google Summer of Code 2008 has been announced. 
We tried to apply for GSoC the last two years already but didn't make it 
for several reasons. This year we are not going to miss out this great 
event again!"

should be changed together with the application dates to point to next year?

Perhabs a link to that article 
(http://hype.yeebase.com/TYPO3/Google-trifft-TYPO3/) would be nice even 
though it is in German only.
