[TYPO3-typo3org] typo3.org / .com is outdated in several areas

Hello out there

I'm using typo3 for almost two years, a half year intensively everday. When I
started, I found it disappointing that the documentation is outdated and
somehow of poor quality. Some books and a friend of mine however helped to
find a way of understanding typo3. Since then I created several websites and
small extensions. All in all, I enjoy typo3 and i would like to find out why
the following things do not improve and really create a bad impression of
typo3 for newbies.

- in most of the tutorials and documentation, there are Screenshots from typo3
version < 4, for example:
http://www.typo3.com/Screenshots.1627.0.html

-the API here is outdated:
http://typo3.org/documentation/api/

- mailing list archive should be back soon, but apparently is not
http://typo3.org/documentation/mailing-lists/

-a lot of outdated links in here:
http://typo3.org/documentation/other-resources/

-there exist more recent and good books:
http://typo3.org/documentation/other-resources/

Explaining a bot which does not exist:
http://typo3.org/community/irc-chat/

Furthermore the php code here is totally unreadable:
http://typo3.org/documentation/document-library/core-
documentation/doc_core_inside/4.1.0/view/3/3/

I'm sure there are a lot of more problems on typo3.org. I hang out often on
the typo3 channel and ppl really get frustrated about the documentation and
because of that drop typo3.

So these question actually are the important ones:
Who is responsible for this? Or is anyone working on those issues? As far as I
can see the new typo3 page will not be finished that soon, or is the new page
the reason you don't care about the current one?

Thanks for your answers and hopefully we can improve that very soon.
