I would like to see the underscore get banned from future key
registration at all. It causes only headaches for the known reasons,
of it's removel from names of modules, tables and classes, to shorten
the names and make the compositions more readable.

But without underscores keys are more difficult to read:

srstaticinfo

sr_static_info

srStaticInfo

Camel case names have not been allowed in the past, for reasons that
some OS and databases are or were case indifferent. Are this reasons
still given?
