Hm, it seems this doesn't work for me - probably because my usernames for
both systems are identical. After logging in I definitely have a fresh
account, but trying to merge tells me it couldn't find the old
username/password combo - which is obvious, if creating the new user has
trashed the old one... :(

Please check this!
