[Typo3-typo3org] page being generated on typo3.org - on a sunday!

Hi Folks,


I just saw the infamous error message on the frontpage of TYPO3.org right now. 
I took the chance to look at why and found that because the frontend news 
display plugin were quering the url 
"http://news.typo3.org/index.php?id=55&type=100" which does NOT respond today 
the page would never be generated.

So, could someone make sure this plugin has some decent timeout so this 
doesn't happen?
