Well, the only statement I can give you currently is that I support the idea 
of such an award. So if you need some official legitimation for the award, 
you'll get it if it's well organized.

However, the Association also consists only of people like you and me, which 
means, we're doing that voluntarily and can only cope with a certain amount 
of work. So what I can't offer you at the moment is support with organizing 
the award. But I guess that you'll find other people interested in helping 
you, so just go ahead.

I suggest having a jury which consists of people from different directions - 
some who know the technical part, others who just use extensions a lot, those 
who know about accessibility etc.
