Yes. 

So our (or my :-( ) current short time todo is:

 - announce dropping of members-only support
 - Upgrade TYPO3.org to 3.8.0-dev
 - enable reverse proxy
 - split up the extensions table into two, one containing meta info, the
   other containing the extension code
 - drop members-only support
 - make repository file based 

Apart from that we have to prepare the long term solutions. Please open a new 
thread, sign up and discuss the following parts. They should all end up in a 
written concept, please volunteer for writing them.

 - TER (I'll lead that for now)
 - Extension Manager (closely related to TER but own project)
 - Documentation section / site (I'll join that team, who leads it?)
 
Of course there will be other projects like mailinglist integration, 
bugtracker, centralized user db etc., but that is not urgent.
