Hi Tolleiv,

+1 by reading and testing with 2 remarks:

1) when render the sidebar it would be very helpful to hilight the added 
entry in "not used elements". At the moment the render of these elements 
are so "bad" that it's difficult to see which one was the latest unlinked.

2) please add phpdoc to the new function with a proper comment what the 
function does and what it's for.
