[TYPO3-t3skin] CSS merging

hi,

is there a possibility to disable the merging of the CSS files in 
version 4.4 for the backend? the new confVar [BE][debug] of version 4.5 
works well, but in 4.4 I just found the confVars [BE][compressionLevel] 
and [BE][versionNumberInFilename] regarding CSS merging. And although 
compressionLevel is set to 0 and versionNumberInFilename is not set, the 
CSS files in this installation are merged.
I´d like to compare the CSS of both version therefore it would be great 
to disable the merging in both installations.

Any ideas?
