[TYPO3-t3skin] TYPO3 5.X UI Design

Hello all together, especially from the hci mailinglist!

It's nice to see you here :)

As TYPO3 5.X will come nearer to us in the future, we should start to 
think about a new UI. We already have written down many ideas and 
proposals in the hci list but there is in fact no skin that has gained 
the vote "yes" of a majority or is available for us as vecorized images.

In my opinion it is necessary to make a decission and focus on the 
actual skinning, so we can add features later on and can talk about hci 
problems and improvements. (we can't talk about something that doesn't 
exist..)

Therefore I have asked many of you in the hci list to join us. But of 
course everyone who doesn't come from the hci list: welcome ;)

In this thread I would like to see a short "That's me, here I am" 
message by everyone and I would like to start designing the new UI of 
TYPO3. Of course I don't want to do this alone, that's why I have asked 
you to join.. ;)

To the general procedure:
As soon as we have designed a set of icons, toolbars and so on, we'll 
design a first draft. (Some nice image that contains all those stuff in 
an ordered concept) As soon as we have finished this first draft, it 
will go back to the hci list and can be discussed and improved.. 
Afterwards it'll go back to the skin mailinglist, etc..

This way of communication will help us to check every single step we 
take and will make sure that the new skin will be the best in usuability 
aspects. Every single problem can be spotted immediatly and therefore 
improved. So that's the way to go in my opinion.
