Hi Semweb Enthusiasts.

Yesterday, I attended the monthly meeting of the Cambridge Semantic Group at MIT in Boston. I was able to talk with Kingsley Idehen (CEO OpenlinkSW, Virtuoso). He reinforced our decision to join forces with the Erfurt team. Furthermore, I got a lot of positive feed-back on the idea to strip down all the layers (aka framework) that lies inbetween the knowledge (living in the database) and the generated response (our HTML output).

There was also a presentation about Stardog, a quad store we have to keep an eye on. For more information visit http://stardog.com/.

I will keep you updated.

Jochen
