[TYPO3-hci] <IMG> vs CSS-backgrounds

Hi there,

I would like to propose to make BE-icons in TYPO3 joined in one image file -
to use it like a CSS-Background for each element.
It's not a secret, what for each image Web-browser will make separated
request, so when we have 20-30 types of images/per page, it could take some
time to load all of them. The proposition - to join all basic icons of TYPO3
in one file and to use it wisely, it will reduce time of page-charging, and
ergonomically it will be better.

Examples from Google:
http://www.google.com/images/nav_logo.png
http://www.google.com/images/nav_logo2.png
http://www.google.com/images/nav_logo3.png
http://www.google.com/images/nav_logo4.png

Thanks.
