Hi,

@Ingmar: please make comment to the first email of this thread. It's 
difficult to find a common solution, if you comment only one aspect.

But I got an idea from your point. ;)

What about:
hidden: show always / hide always:
starttime: Show from
endtime: Show until

So it should be clear that hidden overwrites the starttime etc.
