What about a calendar to select the dates like the registration of accor 
hotels has? It's a calendar like system where you can select two dates. 
The normal input fields could be placed in an advanced box

This could be visualized with pictures/icons as mentioned in one of my 
skin proposals. e.g.: a systemwide icon for admins, a systemwide icon 
for groups and a systemwide icon for users. If they have the rights, 
it's green, if not, it's red.

Just changing wordings is not enough in my opinion.
