[TYPO3-hci] standard content elements, page module

Hi everybody,

what i'd like to have in 4.5:

- take out the standard content elements from the core system into an
extension
why: if you have to modify the TCA array for some reasons, you have to
take care when updating to a new TYPO3 version.
TYPO3 is such a great and flexible system - css styled content is an
extension, languages have to be installed seperately as well - so why
should the standard content elements be "hardcoded"?

- page module/advanced features of standard page module
i'm not using TV at all - i like the simple way of storing data in a
database-table (tt_content).
what i'm missing is the possibility to nest content elements (like in TV).
i'm thinking of developing that extended page module - but it'd be great
to know how many ppl use TV compared to the old fashioned way.

maybe it's possible to put a poll on typo3.org to find that out?

another thougt is, to define the looking of the BE page module via a HTML
template giving you the possibility to place the columns where you want
instead of displaying the columns next to each other. (could be also
connected with the page template selector module)
with this functionality you could make the BE page module to look similar
to the FE-view - which makes it easier for the editor to create new
content elements at the right place/column.

of course: drag and drop functionality within the page module should be a
feature as well :)

looking forward to receiving your comments on these ideas!
ciao,
Peter Luser
