Hi Girls, Guys,

It is a great pleasure for me to introduce two researchers from
Copenhagen Business School who has been lurking on this mailing list
since its creation: Rikke Orngreen and Lene Nielsen. The R&D group
has been in contact with them since December 2005. They are so
excited about usability in relation to an Open Source project that
they have decided to dedicate parts of the research time on us and
TYPO3. What an honor! Lene and Rikkes guiding question is: "How can
usability become an integrated part of the TYPO3 development
culture". So as you can see they have a long term goal that will help
us for future releases and in the process it will benefit the
immediate needs for version 4.5.

Lene and Rikke are not TYPO3 experts but they have already collected
some data from actual users so they have a first hand experience with
the system, user types, obvious obstacles etc. Before their vacation
they will introduce themselves to this list (middle/end of week 26).
They wish to facilitate the process of usability research for us. If
you would like to participate in activities thinking "out-of-the-
box", discovering user roles, defining personas etc. please stay
alert and possibly announce your interest in reply to this mail (or
sign up on the wiki for HCI team membership and note down your
interest). This is a perfect opportunity for non-coders to contribute
significantly to TYPO3s development! Hurrah!

:-)
