so much that it is enough to satisfy high expectations.
Stuff must be flexible re-usable, move around and make easy translations
For those needs existing model is the *best*.

But that doesn't mean, than another model would be usable for some 
users. If you put nested content elements inside one content element
the way you have proposed you *loose* flexibility.

Because of loosing flexibility you proposal can't be the one and only - 
not even the default but it could be an alternative for some users.

You seems to love simple solutions - but maximal simpility means 
*automatic* unflexible solutions.
