[TYPO3-ect] Awstats and new TYPO3 versions

Hello,

I wrote newmedia (owner). I joined the forge projects a few months ago and 
before i wrote the mail...
What would be the better choose, fork or get the key?
I want only to fix the bugs and maybe add some features later.

THX, but I don't want to track users and use sessions. Also user need to load 
complete extra js file (8 kb gzip and a extra connection). I want a simple 
stats about "how many users" and witch search terms. I don't care for Plugins 
in Browser. Best way is don't use a plugin.

Also i block piwik image and js -> you get no info form my visit. AwStats 
write only if TYPO3 is called.
