Personally I don't like ExtJS so much for frontend websites. It's really  
cool for applications like the backend, but too big to use it for usual  
Frontend Sites.
Also I for jQuery/mootools/... more of the pretty effects and more nifty  
plugins are available on the web.

Nevertheless, Michiel's idea was more to have one Ext which ships  
implementations for different libraries, not to have a new extension,  
which works independent of any JS library.
