Hey people,
I was looking for community features and a forum as well last month. I
looked into cwt_community, but didn't like the style (well, there is
this whole gallery stuff, I didn't want). I also looked into chc_forum
and mm_forum, choosing mm_forum because it looked maintained in a better
way. It also offers registration (no sr_feuser_register anymore), and
private messaging.
I tried to get cwt_community working with mm_forum, but it did not work
out. I now created extensions that add community features (buddylist,
guestbook) to mm_forum, also some rating and tagging functionality
within mm_forum.
I needed to adpot mm_forum a bit, and also wanted to make mm_forum a
nice code base, but never got an answer from the mm_forum development
team (this was only last week though).
Just my 2 cents here.
benni.
