[TYPO3-ect] Trouble with Kickstarter__mvc: default action

Hi.

I am using the Kickstarter extension Kickstarter__mvc.  When I generate my
code and install it I should have a default action.  I checked the
checkbox for one of the actions I created to make it default.  But when I
insert the plugin on a front end page it does not work.

I know I have all the dependencies right, because I run bananas just fine.
 Do I need to include in the controller the following line like in bananas
manually?

var $defaultAction = 'myaction';

I noticed that the code from bananas is different to the code generated by
Kickstarter, so I really do not know if I am right.
