Hi.
This is not a bug but a feature that is available since ever. If
security is an issue (perhaps there are more personal data to protect
like credit card information) SSL is a pretty easy fix.
On the otherside your welcome to help to develop a solution which on the
one handside could be rock solid like Fort Knox (was ?) and on the other
handside could be also as userfriendly as possible (forgot my password)
