[TYPO3-ect] Taxonomies / categories II

Hi,

following lines I wrote to Mads as private mail. He asked me to send
this to the list too:

Hi Mads,

another question: How stable do you consider the database design? Th 
background is that I would like to use the categories in my 
fe-extensions. I could write all categories stuff in an own class, that 
we can use it as a base for an api.

What do you think?

 (you should also post this to the mailing list - I think it has general
interest)
 
 By now, the database design should be very stable. Everything is tied
together with the tx_categories_mm table and I can't see how this could
change.
 
 About the api, good idea. Right now, I'm concentrating on the backend
functionality so it would be great if someone (you (-:) could start
working on the frontend API. There are some functions in
EXT:categories/lib/class.tx_categories_div.php that you can use as
inspiration.
