sure. Best would be to tell Olivier to mark bypear as deprecated, but the 
author has to be contacted as well.

btw - we really should start a wiki page where all extensions used by ECT 
are mentioned. They should be divided in sections (lib/examples/...)
with name of Author and a short description.

This will help all the developers starting with lib/div-projects also to 
look at  it and learn from it.
