Hello,
by the way: Do you like the word "package extension" and is it clear
enough what it means?
== Examples ==
For lib/div that's clear, because we need a base and there can be many
addon-features for example the result-browser.
For some other big extensions it would also be good to have such a
construct: If the dam-extension would be splitted in several parts there
could be a "package extension" with the name "dam" what just depends on
its parts. Two or three extension-authors could develop the single parts
and nobody has to know about all the 35000 lines.
== How ==
Just the emconf-file is needed with the list of all dependencies,
nothing else. When an admin installs the package-extension the extension
-manager gets all sub-parts.
