[TYPO3-ect] lib/div developer

Hi Franz

Mads has read my blog post about categorization, and has sent me his
extension. I'm glad to hear that this extension could do the trick. As I
want a state of the art extension, which really brings up the best of TYPO3,
I will add to my demands, that it has to be integrated with tx_categories.
It's about time we have a global categorization.

As for having individual pages to serve as categories / details page for
links / and much other, it allows me to use macina_banners for targeting my
ads to specific pages, without any additional coding. For me it's really the
only way to work. Why have a great CMS to disable one of the basic features
by navigating get-vars on the same page in the pagetree :)

Kindest Regards
Søren Andersen

sounds interesting, but I don't have the time for it - sorry. Just
wanted to give some feedback.

As for the category problem you described in your concept - I think the
upcoming tx_categories from Mads Brunn is THE category extension for
this. And if you still prefer using pages as categories (to be able to
add additional content per category) you can still setup a pagetree,
assign categories to the pages (which is possible with tx_categories by
default), place a TS in the root of your link directory pagetree which
adds the link-extension automatically to the end of each page - and
you're done. The link-extension then only has to have a option, to
automatically display links based on the categories that are assigned to
the current page. By thinking of that - this offers a lot of nice
features for other extensions, too (some kind of TYPO3-adsense, adapting
short-news,...).
