Hi,

with the cherries etension I have taken up now to provide a small build in
form library for lib/div. It's just a very small library but it
contains the typical form elements. The special strength is, that you
can configure a complete form with TypoScript if you use the form builder
class.

Kasper said a few years ago, that you are free to use TYPO3 with any
rendering/template engine you like. We can say the same for lib/div. It's
primarly a controller, that you can combine it with any template engine and
form library and model library you like to use. The build in libraries
of lib are options, that you can decide to use, if they match your
requirements. You can also decide to use external fullblown libraries for
the different tasks. It doesn't make sense to reinvent everything.

Please write me some feedback here if you already tested the new
lib/div forms library. What is good? What is missing?

Did you worked with lib/div in combination with other form libraries i.e.
the PEAR one? What is your experience?

Regards

Elmar
