[TYPO3-ect] Address directory/Partner Management extension

Hi everybody!
For a new project I'll be implementing until april we need some sort of 
contact database for all organisation members and places (like an 
organisation-internal phone book). It would be convenient if there is 
some connection of this contact database to fe users, so we/users don't 
have to maintain contact information twice.

It seems that the Partner Management extension handles things quite 
nice, but since I (of course) need a future-proof sulution, I'm not sure 
if this extension is the right ground to settle on.

Do you have any advice?
